988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline – 24/7 call, text or chat
The Counseling Center provides direct crisis intervention services that may include ongoing counseling, referral to community resources or consultation for students, faculty or staff members facing a crisis situation.
During the Day
If a mental health emergency occurs between 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, contact the Counseling Center office at 501-4275. You will be seen by a psychologist/counselor as soon as possible. Staff and faculty may refer students to the center by calling 501-4275, or may call for consultation related to a student they are concerned about.
Evenings and Weekends
For students living in on-campus residence halls, contact one of the residence hall directors or campus security at 501-4010. They will contact the counselor on-call who will be able to work with residence life and security to assist you.
