- About
The Active Minds student organization in cooperation with Student Senate developed the following statement to serve as a syllabus addendum for faculty to help promote student mental health on the Rockhurst University campus. The Rockhurst University Counseling Center fully endorses this statement.
Cura Personalis, Care for the Whole Person, is one of the core values of Rockhurst University. Through commitment to its values, Rockhurst University offers services to assist you in any difficulties, some of which may include:
- strained relationships
- increased anxiety
- alcohol or drug abuse
- feeling overwhelmed
- difficulty concentrating or lack of motivation
These mental health concerns or stressful events may lead to diminished academic performance or reduce a student’s ability to participate in daily activities.
