Care for the Whole Person
The Rockhurst core value of "Cura Personalis" means to care for the whole person. We look out for our students, not just academically, but spiritually, physically and mentally. If you're in need of support, or would like to support others who might be, below are some ways we look out for one another.
Rockhurst University has 20 NCAA Division II sports teams plus competitive Cheer and Dance and a Spirit Squad. Our student-athletes excel in their sports and in the classroom, which is why we've earned the NCAA Presidential Award for Academic Excellence for the past 13 years straight, one of only 8 schools to have done so since the award's inception. On top of our NCAA sports, students can participate in intramural sports and activities and stay fit through workout classes at our Magis Activity Center (The MAC).
