- About
At Rockhurst, we are a supportive community that forms lifelong learners who serve others as compassionate, thoughtful leaders. As a community, we recognize that companions – students, staff and faculty – can face unexpected barriers to success and periodically benefit from additional help. Whether someone is navigating food insecurity or facing an unexpected fire or one of the many unforeseen challenges life holds, we strive to embody the words of St. Ignatius of Loyola, the founder of the Jesuits, “Love is shown more in deeds than in words.”
Expressing our commitment to love and care for the whole person, we established the “Love in Action” fund, a fund intended to address emergency needs and barriers to success. “Love in Action” finances emergency mini-grants, supports student access to donated laptops and subsidizes food justice efforts. Through “Love in Action,” we hope to help companions thrive!
We invite you to support these important efforts by giving to the "Love in Action" Fund.
