The medical Spanish minor or medical Spanish undergraduate certificate provides health care professionals with a much-needed medical Spanish stackable credential that will help them communicate in Spanish with their existing and future patients, as well as augment their professional skills.
Program Overview
The medical Spanish certification and minor programs consist of a combination of badges that result in the completion of a medical Spanish minor or the equivalent of 4 badges (12 credit hours), or a medical Spanish certificate that will result in the completion of 5 badges (15 credit hours). Each badge will be worth 3 credit hours and can only be taken at Rockhurst University. Undergraduate students will decide which one of the two options they would like to pursue before they graduate.
Note: A graduate certificate in medical Spanish is also available. Email graduate@rockhurst.edu for details.
