Ideal candidate: The Nonprofit Leadership Certificate is designed for busy professionals who work in or with the nonprofit sector, including staff, program administrators, directors, board members and those interested in pursuing jobs at nonprofit organizations.
Learning goals:
Mission-driven organizations are in the business of making the world a better place. They change lives and address our communities’ toughest problems – but are only as effective as their leadership. The Nonprofit Administration certificate offers students the opportunity to build their social impact leadership skills through coursework and applied projects. Students will develop the competencies needed to be collaborative mission-driven leaders, whether they seek to serve as professional staff, board members, community volunteers, corporate social responsibility managers or social entrepreneurs.
