- About
The Helzberg School of Management at Rockhurst University has achieved accreditation of its bachelor's and graduate programs from AACSB International — The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business.
Less than five percent of business schools worldwide have earned AACSB accreditation, making it the gold standard of business education. Rockhurst is the only AACSB-accredited private institution in the area.
To earn AACSB accreditation, a business school must undergo meticulous internal review, evaluation and adjustment—a process that can take from three to seven years. During this period, schools develop and implement a plan intended to meet the 21 AACSB standards that require highly qualified faculty, as well as a commitment to continuous improvement and keeping curricula responsive to the needs of business.
AACSB International is a nonprofit organization consisting of more than 900 educational organizations and corporations. Its mission is excellence in management education in colleges and universities. Headquartered in Tampa, Florida, AACSB International is the premier accrediting agency and service organization for business schools.
