In 2017, this organization was recognized as a "Five Star Chapter" by the national organization for their effort in mental health awareness and encouraging students to speak about mental health, and seek help when needed.

Exercise is Medicine
Rockhurst University is registered as an Exercise is Medicine Campus and aims to promote an active lifestyle to pursue healthy mind, body and spirit. The links provided here provide background information on the importance of exercise to health, and the EIM initiative. The RU EIM program received Bronze Level Recognition at the 2017 American College of Sports Medicine National meeting for efforts in promoting health and fitness on campus.
