- About
Rockhurst University's Student Nurses Association (SNA) mission is to support the student nurses in their endeavors to achieve the highest standard of professional nursing education by providing opportunities for community service, supporting future leaders, enhancing professional development, and student advocacy. SNA is a branch of the Missouri Nursing Students Association (MONSA) and the National Student Nurses’ Association (NSNA).
A student's SNA membership will contribute to their professional development in nursing education by providing volunteer and leadership experiences, guest lectures, and community events representative of fundamental and current professional interests and concerns for nursing students. Membership in Rockhurst’s SNA will aid in the development of the whole person, including their professional role, and their responsibility for the health care of people in diverse communities. Club activities will seek to prepare members to care for members of the community through diverse professional development activities.
Active members are required to be in the Rockhurst University pre-nursing or nursing programs.
