Online Graduate Business Programs Ranked Among Nation’s Best

Rockhurst University’s online graduate business analytics and management MBA programs have earned recognition from U.S. News and World Report as among the nation’s best.
U.S. News released its 2026 Best Online Programs rankings today, recognizing excellence in the delivery of distance education. It is the University’s first-ever appearance on U.S. News’ ranking of online programs, a list now in its 13th year. The business analytics MBA specialty was ranked No. 12 in the nation on the list of online programs, while the general management MBA was tied for No. 15 on that national list. U.S. News assessed 1,780 online degree programs for its 2026 rankings.
Previously, the College’s traditional graduate business degree programs have been recognized by U.S. News — in its 2025 Best Grad Schools rankings, the University’s analytics MBA specialty was ranked No. 14 in the nation. Another specialty in the MBA, management, was ranked No. 24 nationally.
“Regardless of how they are delivered, our graduate business programs continue to be recognized among the nation’s best. I think that says something,” said Myles Gartland, Ph.D., dean of the College of Business and Technology. “There are a lot of choices out there for online MBAs. Our students are looking for a graduate degree that will set them apart in their careers, but they still need it to fit their schedule and lifestyle. We have put a lot of thought and resources into translating that difference-making business education, emphasizing effective, ethical decision-making and soft skills, to the online or hybrid educational setting.”
