MUNICIPAL AUDITORIUM Accessible Seating Information (May 2024 Commencement Ceremony)
Accessible seating at Municipal Auditorium is available on the second-floor General Seating areas. Accessible Seating is not reserved and will be open to all guests at 12:00 pm on Commencement Day. To access the second floor when entering the auditorium, go to the right, once in the main lobby. There are elevators and ramps available to take you to the second floor. From there, accessible seating is available all around the auditorium.
If you would benefit from seeing the ASL interpreters for the hearing impaired, we recommend sitting in sections 27 and 28. Ushers and Rockhurst staff will be available to assist all guests upon arrival at Municipal.
Following Commencement, an accessible bus will be available at the corner of 13th and Central Street to shuttle Commencement Ceremony attendees to the Hawk Walk at KC Live! if needed. This shuttle will run until 5:00 pm and will take guests who are unable to join the Hawk Walk procession of graduates from the Municipal Auditorium to the Hawk Walk celebration space at KC Live in the Power and Light District.
