Madeline Critchfield, Ph.D., joined Rockhurst in 2021, after earning a Ph.D. in Hispanic Linguistics from the University of Georgia. Her research focuses on bilingual morphosyntax, Nicaraguan Spanish, and Spanish-Miskitu language contact. She is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Modern Languages and specializes in teaching courses on linguistics and medical Spanish.
