Biography
Dr. Gerdes is an RN with cardiology nurse clinician, telehealth, cardiac rehabilitation, and ICU experience. She has taught in various capacities at multiple schools of nursing. Teaching experience includes: LPN: Mental Health theory and clinical, medical-surgical theory and clinical BSN: Skills lab, Health Assessment lab, Adult Health 1 clinical, Dedicated Education Unit (DEU), Adult Health 1 & 2 theory, Community theory, pathophysiology, Reflective Practice. RN - BSN: Legal Aspects of Nursing, Informatics. MSN: Research Utilization, Advanced Research, Informatics. Other experience: Simulation coordinator, Associate Dean for Undergraduate Nursing Programs
