Missouri Certification
Upon successful completion of all Rockhurst University Master of Education degree requirements and Missouri certification requirements, we will recommend you to the Missouri Department of Education for initial teacher certification.
If you are certified in another state or country and are seeking Missouri certification, please contact the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education.
Out-of-State Certification
If you completed your initial teacher certification at Rockhurst University and are seeking teacher certification in Kansas or any other state, please contact that state’s Department of Education for an out-of-state licensure application. Submit the required program verification form to Janet Spallo Mitchelson at janet.spallo@rockhurst.edu.
