Biography
Elif B. Dilden, Ph.D., is an Assistant Professor of Economics in the Helzberg School of Management. She earned her M.A. (2017) and Ph.D. (2021) in Economics from Kansas State University.
Dr. Dilden is an Applied Microeconomist whose research emphasizes Public Finance, Labor, and Industrial Organization Economics. Her current research focuses on student loan repayment behavior, but she is broadly interested in analyzing policies that may affect higher education and immigrants. In addition, she has an interest in the empirical analysis of bargaining power in the vertical chain and product proliferation strategies.
She teaches principles of microeconomics, principles of macroeconomics, forecasting and data analysis, intermediate macroeconomics, law and economics, essentials of economics, and competitive analysis.
Dr. Dilden has recently been endowed as Miller Chair at the Helzberg School of Management.
