- Engage is a new bystander intervention program that is being implemented on campus. Students and student orgs can request this be administered to them by contacting the office of student life.
- FSL 101 is a program put on by the Assistant Director of Student Life every spring for all new members of fraternities and sororities. Topics include alcohol education, hazing prevention, fraternity and sorority history and reviewing of Rockhurst policies.
- Catharsis – Online training program for all new students and for athletes each year
Each year, the Missouri College Health Behavior Survey is administered to a random sample of Rockhurst undergraduate students to learn more about the attitudes, perceptions, and behavior concerning alcohol. The survey participation is voluntary and anonymous. Survey results indicate that most students at Rockhurst drink in moderation or not at all; however many students believe that their peers are drinking at a higher rate than is actually accurate.
Please help educate our students by explaining the purpose of a social norming campaign and promoting positive awareness and responsibility. For more information, please contact Taryn James, Assistant Director of Student Life.
