Grad Business, Health Sciences Programs Recognized Among Nation’s Best by U.S. News

U.S. News and World Report released its Best Grad Schools 2025 rankings Tuesday, with several programs in the College of Business and Technology ranked among the nation’s best, along with several of Rockhurst University’s health sciences programs.
For the College of Business and Technology, it’s all about moving up. The University’s analytics MBA specialty moved up 11 spots on the list, now tied for No. 14 in the nation. Another specialty in the MBA, management, is ranked No. 24 nationally, up three spots from the previous year. And the MBA program moved up 23 spots from its ranking the previous year to No. 110.
“We are honored to once again be recognized by U.S. News and World Report for the quality of our graduate programs,” said Myles Gartland, Ph.D., dean of the College of Business and Technology and associate vice president for strategy and innovation. “When we formed this college in 2023, our goal was to stay focused on the prestigious business offerings that the Helzberg School of Management has been known for while building innovative new programs in the fields of technology and information science that match that level of quality. These rankings show that hard work has paid off. No matter what path a student pursues at Rockhurst University’s College of Business and Technology, they will get a world-class education.”
Rockhurst’s Doctor of Occupational Therapy, Doctor of Physical Therapy and Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology programs also earned recognition on their respective lists, which are based on peer assessment.
“It’s a tribute to our faculty and to the students that we attract to see that our program is esteemed in the evaluation of our professional colleagues,” said Kris Vacek, OTD, dean of the Saint Luke’s College of Nursing and Health Sciences. “This is another marker of the prestige a Rockhurst University degree carries.”
