Rockhurst University Students Lead Region in Latest CPA Exam Results

Rockhurst University is listed near the top of the nation and at the top of the region in terms of summary performance on the latest published CPA examination results, according to the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy.
NASBA’s recently released 2014 Uniform CPA Examination Candidate Performance Book indicates a 71.6-percent success rate among Rockhurst graduates who took the uniform CPA examination in 2014, putting the University’s summary performance results in the top 30 of all 776 institutions measured nationwide.
“Our students’ results on the CPA exam put Rockhurst University in great company,” said Cheryl McConnell, Ph.D., dean of the Helzberg School of Management at Rockhurst University. “The programs in the Helzberg School aim to develop capable, ethical leaders, and our CPA exam results reflect the quality of both our graduates and our program.”
Among similar-sized institutions, Rockhurst University’s summary performance results are in the top 10 and the performance of their first-time test takers is ranked 18th nationwide.
