Sunday, October 20, 2024 - 7:30pm
Arrupe Hall auditorium

Composed in March, 1773, Mozart’s Missa Brevis in G Major, KV 140, is filled with charming melodies and compelling harmonies infused with Austrian folk traditions. Bach’s Nach dir, Herr, verlanget mich, BWV 150, is considered by some scholars as the composer’s first extant cantata and served as inspiration for the finale of Johannes Brahms’ Symphony No. 4. Live program notes will begin at 6:45 p.m.
