Men's Basketball 100 Year Celebration Weekend

Coach Drew Diener invites all past players, coaches, fans, and family members are to return to campus and celebrate the start of the 101st season of men's basketball at Rockhurst University.

The weekend will include activities for former players to reconnect, cheer on the 2021-22 team, and commemorate the 100+ years of the history and tradition of men's basketball at Rockhurst University, including special recognition of the All-Century Team (Jack McCloskey, Bob Casteneda, Ralph Telken, Pat Caldwell, Al Payne, Jim Healey, Carl Cook, Jim Schaefer, Jim Kopp, Mark Teahan, Dennis Luber, Doug Wemhoff, Davin Winkley, Aaron Hill, and Curtis Lewis)

Tickets to the basketball games may be purchased at the Mason Halpin Fieldhouse ticket windows. If you are interested in purchasing a ticket to the dinner on Saturday night please contact Brent Blazek at brent.blazek@rockhurst.edu by Friday, Nov. 12.

Weekend Schedule:

7 p.m, Friday, Nov. 12 - Men's Basketball vs. Davenport University (Mason Halpin Fieldhouse)*
3 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 13 - Men's Basketball vs. Purdue University Northwest (Mason Halpin Fieldhouse)*
6 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 13 - Cocktail Hour, Dinner, and Program (Magis Activity Center) Cost: $40 (includes all food and beverages) - DINNER IS SOLD OUT

Former RU Men's Basketball Players - Complimentary
Adults (ages 23-59) - $8
Seniors (ages 60+) - $5
Students (ages 14-22) - $5
Children (ages 5-130 - $1
Under 5 - FREE

*Please note all event details are subject to change as civic, conference, and university health guidelines are updated in regards to the COVID-19 pandemic. All guests are asked to please wear masks during the wekeend when not eating or drinking. Thank you
